Kazakhmys corporation. Data transmission and telephony

As Kazakhmys Corporation develops mines and opens new pits, ASTEL provides it with more and more high-speed data transmission channels for running applications within a corporate network. Now we supply Corporation with the satellite communications using SKyEdge II equipment (intra-corporate telephony, urban telephony, corporate applications access, Internet connection).

One of the project's tasks was to organize a single numbering plan for the customer's telephone network, considering that company facilities own different PBXs and interfaces (FXS, E&M, E1). Back in 2011 this problem was solved with the help of specialized gateways. Another solution was to deliver, install and configure Iskratel equipment to build an NGN network in the Karaganda region. As a result, the client received a reliable data and voice transmission network. Data transmission works in 1 satellite download, which fully meets the requirements of the client's corporate software.
