• 2021

  The company has charted a new course, focusing on developing innovative digital solutions and high-quality IT integration services.

• 2020

  Launching an operational security center (SOC-ASTEL) and a complex of information security services. A data processing center was put into operation in the city of Nur-Sultan, launched cloud solutions and the "Virtual Data Center (vDC)" services.

• 2019

  Launching our own wireless network, consisting of more than five hundred base stations to provide IoT services based on LoRaWAN technology. Implementation of pilot agricultural projects of IoT. Developing a technical solution and building a data center in Nur-Sultan. Creation of a new Portable satellite complex-400 (PSC-400)

• 2018

  A new product has been developed - Small Satellite Complex (SSC). A new subdivision in Turkestan started to operate. Our own satellite communications center "Baikonur" in Nur-Sultan Built was put into operation. Construction of LoRaWAN base stations network  has begun.

• 2017

  Development of a new product "Automotive communication kit" (AKC). Cooperation with  National Information Technologies JSC for providing communication services to state bodies (Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Internal Affairs etc.).  

• 2016

  Satellite and integration services active promotion. The number of operating satellite stations has reached 3,500. Delivery of "Portable satellite systems" to law-enforcement agencies, delivery of "Mobile complexes for the analysis of the electromagnetic situation" for the State Technical Service was carried out.

• 2015

  Launching Daraline satellite internet service. Putting into operation the SkyEdge II-C satellite communications network with the central control station (HUB) in Almaty.

• 2012

  Development of a portable satellite communications complex for rapid deployment (SCC) and its delivery to law-enforcement agencies.

• 2011

  The company changed its development strategy. We took a course towards diversification of our servicers and launching integrated solutions. Partnership agreements with fiber-optic networks operators. Partnership agreement with Kazakhtelecom JSC concluded on July 29, 2011.

• 2010

  Receiving certificates of conformity of the QMS: ISO 14001: 2004 OHSAS 18001: 2007 ST RK ISO 9001: 2009.

• 2009

  The certificate of conformity of QMS ISO 9001: 2008 was received. Together with GILAT and TRANSTELECOM companies, launched a project to provide broadband Internet access and telephony services for railway passengers. Development and implementation of new services: hourly video conferencing services, high-speed data transmission based on MPLS technology and Next Generation Network (NGN).

• 2006

  Listing "B" of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. Obtaining a quality management system certificate (ISO9001: 2000).

• 2005

  Launch of the VSAT SkyEdge Control Center. Obtaining a license for long-distance and international telephone communication services.

• 2004

  Launch of the first satellite TV broadcasting station in Taldykorgan. Transferring part of the network to the use of satellite communications resources NSS-6.

• 2003

  Commissioning of the new Astana-Moscow main canal.

• 2001

  Commissioning of its own satellite communication networks FaraWay VSAT and DialAway IP with the Central Control Station (HUB) in Almaty.

• 2000

  Connection to the Moscow traffic exchange M-IX.

• 1999

  Start of international telephone services. Opening a satellite Internet channel through a "Frontier Global Center" traffic exchange node (USA). Completed construction of a multiservice high-speed network KazNet® covering 14 largest cities of Kazakhstan.

• 1997

  ASTEL® trademark registration. Beginning of KazNet® VSAT satellite network commercial operation. Start of data transmission services using the Frame Relay, TCP / IP protocols.

• 1996

  Beginning of Internet access services. Registration of KazNet® and KazMail® trademarks.

• 1994

  The operation of the KazMail® business-class e-mail system has begun.

• 1993

  Company creation. The first node of the KazNet® X.25 packet switching network was launched in Almaty.
