ASTEL was founded in 1993. Nowadays, it holds a leading position in the Kazakhstani market of telecommunications. The primary activity of the company is building corporate data and voice transmission networks in order to create state-of-the-art technologies. Using equipment produced by world-leading manufacturers, ASTEL offers a wide range of high-quality services to its clients including satellite telecommunications and wireless access, broadcasting and telephony, Internet access, as well as development and implementation of projects of any complexity.

The work of the company resulted in the creation of KazNet - one of the biggest data transmission trunk networks in Kazakhstan. The company's complex of services is based on the network; regional technical centers and the 24/7 users support division insure the stable functioning of the services.
